QS.SNAPSHOT.FROM.CONTEXT

Captures serializable base market inputs from a context at an observation timestamp; excludes fixings and temporary scenarios

Category: QuantSupport - Market.

QS.SNAPSHOT.FROM.CONTEXT(name: text, timestamp: text, context: text) → text handle
Parameters:
  • name (text) – Workbook-unique object name; unchanged recalculation reuses its current handle

  • timestamp (text) – Required offset-aware RFC 3339 text, e.g. 2026-01-15T16:00:00Z or 2026-01-15T17:00:00+01:00; normalized to UTC; date-only and naive timestamps are rejected

  • context (text) – Stable workbook-scoped root from QS.CONTEXT.CREATE or revisioned historical context; additions belong to the context and commit after the definition pass

Returns:

Revisioned MarketSnapshot handle capturing serializable base observations and configurations. Fixings are excluded. Supplied runtime elements and materialized scenarios cannot be archived; use construction configurations.

Return Type:

text handle

Errors:

#VALUE! for invalid timestamps, stale/wrong-type context handles, supplied runtime market elements that cannot be serialized, or registry failures.
