QS.PRICER.CREATE

Creates an explicit native pricer with independent optional setting-name and setting-value arrays

Category: QuantSupport - Pricing.

QS.PRICER.CREATE(name: text, implementation: text, discount_policy: text or blank, setting_names: cell or range, setting_values: cell or range) → text handle
Parameters:
  • name (text) – Workbook-unique object name; unchanged recalculation reuses its current handle

  • implementation (text) – Native pricer class name, e.g. LoanPricer, DiscountedCashflowPricer, BondPricer or FxForwardPricer

  • discount_policy (text or blank) – Native discount-policy handle; blank is supported only for RateFuturesPricer, which does not discount cashflows

  • setting_names (cell or range) – Optional independent setting-name or typed setting-value array; omitted or blank uses native defaults; arrays align by position and may have different orientations

  • setting_values (cell or range) – Optional independent setting-name or typed setting-value array; omitted or blank uses native defaults; arrays align by position and may have different orientations

Returns:

Revisioned text handle to an explicit native pricer configured with its discount policy and typed worksheet settings.

Return Type:

text handle

Errors:

#VALUE! for invalid inputs, stale or wrong-type handles, unsupported target/pricer/trade combinations or native evaluation errors; #N/A when the result does not contain the requested measure.
